For the people who said no May I suggest you take some grandchild or young relative for a drive around in December to see the lights. When you see and hear their excitement you will feel it too. Itโs infectious.

We still do! We take it a step further, too. We wrap a box of chocolates then we pick our favourite house and they win! Haha, we knock on their door and give them their prize. Itโs really quite hilarious!! ๐

Yes, we used to go downtown first to see how it was decorated, drive down Jasper Avenue, then off to other neighbourhoods to see the lights. It was so magical

We were one of those houses! I couldnโt find the other videos, but here you can see the lights to Polynesian musicโฆmy now ex-husband is from the South Pacific.

Love doing this with our kids. We printed "polar express" tickets and left them on their pillows around Christmas Eve, had hot cocoa and snacks ready in the car, and would drive around. We still do it even though they are teens now. ๐ฅฐ๐๐งโ๐

In my preteen days we would walk through the neighborhoods along with a throng of others and just ooh and awe at the displays. Never became a contest just a show

YES! I remember in the 1960s & 70s, when visiting my paternal grandmother in Dec, we'd take a short drive to where the more stately homes were around High Park & Casa Loma (Toronto). I remember being in awe of those places that had their trees & homes all lit up in clear lights.
