We took some time away from the lab to enjoy a group lunch. It was great to spend some time outside of work with the group. This summer the group is as big as ever as we are hosting Prof Mohammad Siddiqui from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals - KFUPM @KFUPM

Congratulations to Alma Villarreal who completed a 6 week summer research program in my lab. Along with her PhD student mentor Abdullah Alazmi she developed a new technique for fabricating polymer nanofubers that we plan on implementing in CO2 electrolyzers.

I encourage others, especially if you have NSF funding, to prioritize serving on panels now. It will help everyone out tremendously as I know response from many federal agencies has been slowed or halted. Please RT this thread and help encourage others to support the NSF.

Just last week I was asked to serve on two more panels which would meet in April. I don't think I can do both but I will do one. It is a very busy time of year but I'll do all I can to support the NSF as I see the impact the research they support has on technology and education
