One android's fate may spell the difference between peace, war, the blossoming of a new religion, or a technological singularity beyond comprehension.
SYNERGIA is now live on Steam.
At the end of the world, sometimes love is the ultimate crime.
Finally updated the portrait UI for TLHB. Now Ceres's face is there. I plan to have different portraits for HP states, a bit of a mix of the classic Resident Evil games and Doom.
I get a little sad when looking at old TLHB mockups but I don't want to post them because the game is no longer an RPG and I don't want people to get the wrong idea from the game
Me after posting a character with cyberware invented by a guy in his garage in 1987 and a bob cut from the 1920s and having someone saying it looks just like Lucy from Edgerunners
Precision predicates perfectionism. That's why I strive for your ass cheeks separation to be measured in single digit microns while you play The Last History Book
"We may gaze upon the heavens in our struggle, but we come from soil, born of it, sustained by it, destined to return to it. Part of a cycle that will continue long after we're gone. I may die today, but tomorrow someone will take my place." -Princess Asteria of Avalon
Above Chrysalis's gates reads: "If I cannot deflect the will of heaven, then I shall feast upon all" A reminder that the only alternative to human survival is absolute and total anihilation. Humanity will face extinction before subjugation.
Do you know any grounded, gritty and adult cyberpunk comics? Webcomics and manga works too but no shonen please. I'm talking about GITS/Blade Runner style stuff, not post-apocalyptic like Blame! or with magic. I'm having trouble finding stuff like that🤔
When first designing The Last History Book I was pretty worried it'd be too "dark" to get a good reception so I'm happy the last few tweets have gotten so much attention. It felt risky to design a game where the protagonists look like the baddies
Im bored so let's do something artists,
What is a drawing you think you're iconic for? and let people reply to you what drawing they think you are iconic for
This reminds me of how they removed the lesbian sex scenes from the last physical release of Ghost in the Shell. I've always spoken against this, the infantilization of society. The human body is forbbiden and you can't even say "fuck" on youtube if you expect monetization.
Skullgirls fired their original devs, then promptly started deleting content from the art book you paid for.
An ART BOOK.
All your digital media will be censored and taken away from you at a whim.
This is profoundly anti-consumer and should be fought at ever turn. A digital…
In a dance of bullets, be filled with grace and joy. I may die today but tomorrow others will take my place. The Order of the Apple Tree shall not fall for the princess watches over us.
I dont mean to be mean but the concept that all games must be escapism is just wrong. If the author wants their world to be cruel and reflect the real one then that's perfectly fine. You can't just be angry at a game because it didnt meet expectations you created yourself
I'll regret saying this but... I worked for months to make Synergia's DLC. It's some of the best art I've done. I thought some people would complain about not liking the story, and yet most complaints were about it being too short. I'm not releasing anything for free ever again.

Hey Nel! I'm happy to hear you liked Synergia! ❤️ There is another game coming! A action-survival horror game, but you better mentally prepare because it is HEAVY. A grimdark setting set in a dystpian future with a mix of biblical and philosophical themes.
While The Last History Book is very lore heavy the story won't be told in a souls-like way. There'll be plenty of mysteries and secrets to speculate about, but also very straightforward explanations about the state of the world. All of that plus a character driven story on top.
The Last History Book: Huntresses-When Chrysalis was sinking into misery and people starved, only a few brave huntresses dared to go out into the dark tunnels to hunt beasts
I think we went a little crazy with the animation detail for guns in The Last History Book. They're (somewhat) realistic and even have variations for the crouching position. You can catch small details like saving empty mags or opening the bolt action. These were done by

A couple of years ago I made this concept for a Visual Novel called Hunter's Lullaby. I eventually moved on to the project I'm making now, but I'm quite proud of the concept itself. Maybe I'll revisit this idea in the future, it could be turned into a different game
You can still play it every Friday! I usually join a couple of Fridays every month. It usually gets at least one full server so the game isn't totally dead! Super cozy.
NEOTOKYO° was released in 2009; A Multiplayer Team-Based Tactical Shooter - Developed as a Mod for HL2 Source. Since abandoned post 2014 Steam Release, the official website has been taken offline (all the High Res Map Images with it) I will be archiving all maps here. Thread 🧵
I've been back to work for a few days now. The Last History Book is going through some big changes, which I hope to show soon. For now I think I'll need to expand the landscapes for the game, so I might have to look to hire a pixel artist soon
The Last History Book is still far from done, but sometimes I like to work on concepts for future project. These are for a lovecraftian horror game set in the early 20th century
Japanese artists will post the most insane art you've seen in your life and then they'll only post pictures of food they liked until their next art post two years later. Never change.
"I've seen everyone's death, including yours. It happened a week ago, as I predicted, and yet here you are, before me. Now, the only thing I see in you is blackness. You've escaped fate, it seems." -Auri, The Oracle-The Last History Book
Still unfinished work but it's already one of my favorites from The Last History Book. The city of Chrysalis. This is where the game starts and where the protagonist was born. A city-state with a warrior society, it's streets and houses built on metal and flesh.
Gonna finish this one soon. It's from a post civilization sci-fi story. Humanity goes back to tribes. She's the slave of a warlord and she's used as a hound to hunt other smaller tribes. She's fed up with it and it'll probably not end well once she starts hunting her masters
I'm still not 100% convinced by this design. I want to give her a more tactical and sci-fi look but I'm not sure I can change the colors without losing the "desert-ish" vibe 🤔
I'm finally putting together TLHB script and lore documents. I just want to say that if you like Tool you'll love it. It's this mix of biblical, lovecraftian and esoterical sci-fi mixed with biopunk. It's the weirdest thing I've ever done but it all has a meaning. Pure symbolism.

!
After 4 years, I released my cyberpunk thriller story/visual novel SYNERGIA. As a cop with a dark secret, when a new android falls into your lap the world begins to change. It's available on Steam!
The Last History Book is still a narrative focused game, don't forget. There'll be plenty of story, lore and interesting characters to find. Here you can see the dialogue sprite for Eve, Guardian of Menoitios.
I'm excited about the expansion but I never understood the fixation with the police. You can't do crimes in the game anyway. I've had the police chase me twice in 250h of gameplay. I would have much preferred improved quest lines/consequences and lifepaths or just side activities
