Not sure I've ever seen this before. Good one, via @Rachel__Hellman: A selectboard member in the Town of Addison kept serving — an entire year — because nobody realized his term was up

The number of news articles and network specials about safe states and trans refugees finding safety in those states... There is currently a huge migration of trans people underway, and news orgs are finally paying attention. This is the cost of anti-trans laws.

To make matters worse, he discovered that his car insurance — through Geico — wouldn't cover flood damage. Simmons will have to pay back the bank that holds the lien on the wrecked car. He owes $11,500 and makes $19/hr working with homeless youth. https://t.co/YgGuALTXI5

For weeks, people in Springfield were captivated by the search for Tiki, a 26-year-old emu that escaped from a sanctuary. There were sightings and other developments. Good news: Tiki is now home. @Rachel__Hellman reports

@sevendaysvt Also want to shout out @vtdigger and @vermontpublic. Reporters there have been everywhere and keeping Vermonters well informed with potentially life-saving information. Great work by local media during this catastrophe

It feels surreal to have my first Seven Days cover out in the world. I was so glad to work on this project, which brought me all over the state to find Vermonter’s “third places” (and do my sociology professors proud). https://t.co/Jhl3ftKkXS
