This morning I went to see how French classes were going in my kids preschool and it’s heartwarming to see how some of the kids have made awesome progress. Sparking curiosity in the minds of young ones is the best.

Yes. 💯. I’m also confused by the lack of daycares in most universities. The university where I spent nearly two years studying in person from 2001 to 2003 *did* have a daycare, and I thought it was a wonderful thing. It should be a universal thing really.

Correct 💯. And not just memorizing facts, mental maths also strengthen your neural pathways. I don’t care about the fact you have a calculator, a dictionary and a universal translator in your pocket. You have a brain, just use it from time to time, otherwise you’ll suffer the.
Memorizing facts boosts memory which does make you smarter because intelligence is largely about making connections between ideas or concepts or facts and the more you have ready at hand in your brain (as opposed to being able to look them up which creates friction) the more.

I don’t know if this is just me or not, but as a kid growing up I couldn’t care less whether a character was male or female, humanoid or not, etc. If the character did cool things, I liked him/her either way. Like, one of my role models in life was this one. ⬇️
