@BDSixsmith She's a perfectly normal figure for an American post-menopausal woman. People who are tweeting praise for Brosnan must know loads of married women with similar figures. Are their husbands somehow heroic too?

It kind of sucks Pierce Brosnan's wife that her husband finding her attractive is treated as some kind of Gandhiesque moral accomplishment.

@RachelBCam @BDSixsmith This is obviously true, but the average American male in this scenario is not a multimillionaire former James Bond. Therein lies the distinction IMO.

@smolsEEEEE @RachelBCam I do think agree it's sweet to see two rich famous older people who can’t get enough of each other, by the way, it’s just it’s just the scale on which ol' PB gets applause that makes it seem a bit demeaning.

@RachelBCam @BDSixsmith Well no. Obesity isn’t the “perfectly normal” state for post-menopausal women. A few extra pounds, sure, but she’s obese.

@RachelBCam @BDSixsmith That's not the standard for post menopausal women it's what society has been force fed seed oils and junk food. Look at women in their 50s+ before the 1990s they were far skinnier.

@RachelBCam @BDSixsmith She's fat, but that's probably normal in America now, correct

@RachelBCam @BDSixsmith It’s beautiful to see two people in love who have been married a long time, and that’s kind of rare among celebrities, so kudos to both of them for that. Too bad people couldn’t have left it at that; I hope his wife is not on social media

@RachelBCam @BDSixsmith To these people? Yes, if those husbands are loving and loyal, they're either heroes (if it's perceived to be their choice) or losers (if they're perceived as unable to get someone "better").
