OMG OMG OMG. Our @US_IMLS grant proposal was just awarded!! We will be planning and delivering a two-day forum with reps from across academia to work toward a fairer, more equitable research evaluation, based on the SCOPE model, developed by @INORMS_REWG

An AI / LLM tool that utilizes search results from Google Scholar to generate its own results and visuals (from VOSviewer). Seems limited given that GS does not have an API, but nevertheless interesting.

Playing with @zetavector , one of the academic search engines that use the latest transformer-LLM-based technologies to generate direct answers from search results. Somewhat similar to @elicitorg , @scispace_ , @scite assistant. Two unique things caught my eye. (1)

I assume this is also to help prevent the "clogging effect" caused by so many authors submitting to journals for career advancement. Or at least a nice side effect. Journal seeks to upend scientific publishing by only reviewing—not accepting—manuscripts.
