Surprisingly there has been more coverage in UK and American. Iain Ballantyne in his “ The Deadly Trade” covering 300 years of Submarine History devoted one full Chapter to Hangor…..Great honour for Pakistan Navy. Same Book has been published in USA as well.
@TasnimAt54b Ameen sir, however I raised the issue of this historic feat by a young submarine crew and it's official recognition by the state and penning it in the Criculum and history books of Pakistan is simply not there.

Had to correct this on air. Calling these floods "unprecedented" ignores history and the governance failures that turn hazards into human tragedies. This mindset guarantees the same disaster next year. A response-centric approach is untenable.

This S1 SAR image helps explain the mystery of 6-day flood peak lag from Trimmu-Panjnad, 2x the official 3-day estimate. The same happened in 2014 as well. Floodplain resistance & infrastructure bottlenecks on Chenab, Ravi, and Sutlej are to blame. p.s Can you count the rivers?
