writing a book that does this exactly, I feel like something writing has lacked focus on is exploring human psychology and the ability to weigh opinions on morally grey decisions, that’s where the best writing takes place, if you can actually question if the protagonist is right.
i need authors to go back and write PLOTS. stop writing books based on tropes. write a book based on the PLOT & build tropes from that. pick up the pens and start working. i’m tired of wasting time reading trope based books with no plots being executed well.
