Glad to share our new paper discovering a new root disease on fine fescue. The patches start off like summer patch until they become way too big. https://t.co/RmVSvxu5gt… Let me know/send me a sample if you see similar symptoms on fine fescues.

Thanks to the strong response from the NJ turf industry we are back up and running with minimal impact to the research. Thanks to everyone who brought us equipment, this isn't a post asking for help, but one to say thank you! In the near and long term we are working to rebuild.

We had a major fire Thursday at one of of research farms. One firefighter was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has recovered, but otherwise nobody was hurt. We lost the shop, carts, and all of the fine turf mowers.

Grateful to have had Bruce as an advisor and mentor. This is one of my favorite pictures with Bruce at a hot and muggy RU field day.
Last week at NJ Expo we celebrated the 40-yr career of Dr. Bruce Clarke. A legend in turfgrass pathology and an even better human being. Simply one of the best. Thank you Bruce!
