Sunderland is 1-2-0 against Man City, Chelsea & Aston Villa this season while having 32% of possession or less in all three matches. Their defensive group has been tremendous.

These are ultimately fringe major leaguers that the Reds have made moves for today. They are there as depth. Nothing more. I wouldn’t say the Reds got better or worse. They are still between a 78-82 win team. My guess is Steer/Singer is the package they are trying to trade.

This is closer than I thought the Reds would be. I figured they would be in the 4/100 range. If you have that money for Schwarber you should have a higher payroll than last year, but all Krall keeps saying is that it will be about the same as last year. I can’t stand this org

This Kentucky basketball team is not good. A lot like their football wide receivers, they can’t create separation at all from defenders. Handing the ball around the three point line is easy to defend. Do something else.

Kai Correa is the best defensive coach in baseball and has been for a while now. His name was being passed around in professional baseball circles back in 2015 when he was coaching Northern Colorado. He’s that good.

The Pirates were in on Josh Naylor - reportedly for upwards of 80+ million. Now reports are saying they are in on Kyle Schwarber. Are they finally trying to put a competent offense on the field around their great pitching? It would be good for the game if they did.

Sprint speed in the 3rd percentile, but stole 30 bases and was caught only twice. Dude is just a ballplayer. He makes the Mariners lineup so much deeper. Mariners took care of business early with the biggest free agent signing they needed to make.

This is awesome for the Mariners. They get a huge piece back on a multi-year deal and get Naylor for full year in '26. .360 with 12 XBH in 26 games at T-Mobile Park this season. T-Mobile has a reputation of being hard to see to hit, but Naylor has said he loves batter's eye.
