Bit of a rant there and no funny memes. But just gutted at how much we are struggling with even the basics at the moment. We are better than this , or at least we should be...

Been a while since I've seen an exodus like that at the second goal. And if not addressed, we're in danger of regressing, with all the momentum we've built the last 2 years draining away. Massive game next week against a morton team in a similar position...

Doesn't mean he doesn't need help though. We've done it before when we've brought in a different assistant to take the pressure off the manager or freshen some ideas. I don't think he goes for that however.

What next ? Folk calling for the managers head are daft, 1 This is his first time in a rut like this, I am really hoping that it's just a blip , but we do need wins soon. 2 they are his players , without a full rebuild again I doubt anyone else makes a difference

Investment in the staff Again opinion, but we have a young management team, who seem to be doing a lot of work between them. It would have been good to expand that team over the summer. Take some of the workload off the team that is there.

We did so well at adapting last season at times and I don't know if it's due to personell but we just aren't doing it this year, and it's a sore watch.

We've been sussed. Said a million times , we're not a surprise package anymore. Great example of this was when Reid (our only out ball) went off and we were forced to play from the back. They had 3 attackers in our box nullifying our ability to play out from the back

Set plays... What the hell has happened ? How many times are we just floating weak aimless balls into a crowded box or putting a ball directly into the keepers hands

Our press It's non existent. We use to hassle teams but we're just so easy to play through now. Reid had some success today when pressing but we still never really put their backline under any pressure.

We also retreat far too deep , there's seems to be an odd responsibility problem where we don't seem to want to go to the ball jist inviting pressure on to us

Same weaknesses Back post and a ball to the edge of our box and we are utterly lost in the sauce. This season, we've added space in behind our full backs to the mix , constantly caught too high up the park exposing our CBs

This has been made worse by injuries to experience players like Watson, Aiden Wilson and even Mcmaster despite himself only really having a solid season and a half under his belt. The youth and inexperience we have shows through in individual mistakes.

Recruitment We've signed some really good players , but we also lost a lot of experience, talking 10s of thousands of minutes replaced by players who have relatively few senior minutes. We've relied too much on youth and relied on the same avenues of recruitment.

So what's going wrong ? In my opinion, and I'll admit , I know very little... there's a lot gone wrong or perhaps more to the point hasn't been addeess So let's start with...
