We will host 2 workshops for trainees: one from the MSU BEST program ( for graduate student professional development and one from MSU’s Research Technology Support Facility on RNA-seq data analysis and interpretation.

RRM is a trainee-focused meeting and we are excited to be hosting in Michigan for the first time!.

We are excited to announce the 2023 Rustbelt RNA Meeting (#RRM2023) in East Lansing, MI. The meeting will be held Oct. 27-28. Registration will open next week.

We hit our registration cap late Monday, Sept. 26 for the meeting. We will have a full-capacity meeting. Registrants should be able to see all their RNA friends again on Oct 14!.

Registration is officially OPEN! We limit the meeting to 300 participants and we typically hit this number. It is in your best interest to register early. Trainees: if you would like to be considered for an oral presentation your abstract must be submitted by Sept 10.

Part of RRM2022 will take place at the HEC of CWRU & Cleveland Clinic. Current visitor policy is: "We strongly encourage all campus visitors to be fully vaccinated—including booster if eligible". RRM participants may want to plan ahead in case regulations increase in stringency.
