Politics is about choices. Merton Labour are choosing to put up council fees and charges by inflation busting amounts. Your local Lib Dems oppose these hikes. On May 7th Merton gets to choose. #VoteLibDem

At tonight’s council meeting, we’re proposing the Council take real practical steps to boost the take-up of benefits local residents are entitled to. We’ll also be demanding a review of soaring fees & council charges hitting local residents & businesses under @MertonLabour.

And it is always disrupted on Wednesdays when for some unclear reason Raynes Park Library remains closed. Ask yourselves why Merton’s Labour bosses keep voting against our proposals to open it (alongside Colliers Wood, Pollards Hill and West Barnes where residents have the same)
From this week, we are undertaking essential IT maintenance and upgrades to improve our services. Customer computers, Wi-Fi and Libraries Plus services may be temporarily unavailable across library sites. For more information, please visit: https://t.co/WGDGzHznUC

Great to be out in Morden today hearing from those that bought houses there up to twenty years ago because they were promised regeneration, but it never came. This is despite their councillors being in control of the Council. Time for change in Ravensbury & Merton Council overall
Fantastic response today for our team in Ravensbury ward in Morden. Clear dissatisfaction with Labour and acknowledgment that the Lib Dems are best placed to beat Labour here in May.

SGN have a legal order to suspend parking along Lambton Rd from Worple to Cambridge until 6th Feb for gas works. As this isn’t a CPZ, we are aware of issues regarding finding parking in surrounding streets. If we can be of assistance email rp@mertonlibdems.org.uk
