I must stop thinking out loud: In Poundland earlier, the Jackson 5 version of "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" was playing (in November, but anyway...) Found myself blurting out "Oh, sod off Michael!" (or words to that effect). Just as well the shop was empty at the time... 😳

And it's a #TonyTodd memorial double-bill for the weekend: Candyman was mandatory but his lead in Tom Savini's underrated remake of Night Of The Living Dead gets a look-in too (nicely follows from watching the original at Halloween as well). #RIPTonyTodd

That's followed by an #ArmchairThriller I prepared earlier, and it's a creepy classic. Beware the Black Nun! Strange things are afoot at a convent girls' school in Quiet As A Nun... @spookyisles https://t.co/S4oH2APTHK

Genius. Happy 87th birthday to #PhilipKaufman, who directed one of the films which made (and continues to make) the greatest impact on me. #InvasionOfTheBodySnatchers (1978)
