To achieve this kaleidoscopic effect, Simone reversed one of the 6 glass elements in an analogue lens. This distorted the image at the edges while leaving the centre sharply focused. Wildlife Photographer of the Year is on now until March 29, 2026. đž: Caught in the Headlights

This past summer, I was lucky enough to see (and hold!) parts of Zuulâs skull in the collection of the @ROMtoronto. One of the most remarkable fossils Iâve ever seen!! Canât wait to see Zuul in its new digs in the museumâs new dinosaur hall, opening today! #FossilFriday
