I am legitimately confused by a person I know in real life who refuses to vaccinate their children yet is complaining because it’s taking too long to get a vet appointment for a rabies shot on a new family dog. Guess the dogs life is more important than the kids

May have something to do with the fact that you can’t board or license your dog without rabies vaccination.

Mine was opposite. My dog couldn't get vaccinated because she keep having reactions to different vaccines (no known reason). So the pro vax nurse who shouts it from the rooftops had a dog with no shots. The shame.

likely the lack of vaccination is a barrier to a service she wants like dog grooming; we need to restore similar protections for kids

I knew someone like this once. She also thought the distemper shot would keep her dog from having a bad temper. Omg.

It’s the law. And where I live it’s a big deal if dog is not vaccinated for rabies.

There was a lady in front of me at the pet store lamenting the county mandates a rabies vaccine for her dog. She went on a tear about how unsafe vaccines are then said her dog has cancer and is getting chemo 😳

Do you know the kids and the dog in question? Don't forget, mom has raised the kids to this point...the dog is new and untrained in mom's ways.
