New combo video - Playing With Food

For a moment I forgot that the true magic of melee was theory crafting Marth vs some random floaty mid tier that no one in this country plays.

Also this actually kinda applies to any situation where wait is a viable option, including recoveries and getting off ledge.

I said usually cuz sometimes I counter or shield, but both lose to waiting.

Attention Australian melee. My worst habit is: in neutral if I spend a turn waiting, I will always spend the next one doing something that beats you attacking in (usually attack in place), simply wait again then win. Please beat this out of me, thank you.

Just had the most random wholesome interaction with an old man on the bus who recognised that I had kendo equipment from when he lived in Japan for a bit. He talked about living there while asking me about doing kendo and it’s a top 10 interaction of all time for me 🙂.

Rn the game just feels like who can improve the most without actually playing people which sucks cuz u never get to play the video game for fun without being punished. Maybe I’m just salt posting but it’s felt like this for a while, with it better to just play Phillip instead.

Legit gonna actually try to start getting good at this game so gonna start not playing people who sandbag + I want people I play to call me out for what I’m doing differently if they think I’m doing it.

Aus melee results are so fake cuz people just sandbag friendlies to learn habits and never actually try to adapt until tournament, including me. I’ve had like 2 real sets this year, both against goodie so ggs.

This was my first time going to a meet up for the game development society, someone had a switch, what was I supposed to do.

I love kendo so much right now. Decision making and mixups under pressure but when you guess wrong you get smacked in the head with the stick and when u guess right you get to do it back has achieved insane levels of dopamine in my head.
