It's about time children rediscovered the joys of making their own kites with paper. "Paper kite" is a thing! Kites are supposed to be paper! Parents and schools must teach kids to make simple, traditional color- blocked kites. Bonus- they can identify their own kites. 2/2

On Makar Sankraanthi, so sad to see neighborhood kids playing with extremely cheap-looking plastic kites printed with cartoon characters. Junk for the environment, look ugly and not sturdy. Can't see the cartoons in the sky. These are likely not manufactured locally either. 1/2

I don't watch it, have never watched. I don't "get" the show. I mean I do get it technically, on a superficial level. People among family and friends have tried to explain it to me. Yet I can't wrap my head around the concept, and what little I understand, I dislike intensely.
