At the WPC Conference, we aligned international trade with energy/economic corridors to boost competitiveness; reviewed emergency protocols & housing for Indigenous & remote communities; and approved a communiqué on Arctic security, affordable housing & emergency response.

I was pleased to meet with grade six students from Princess Alexandra school in Hay River this morning and answer their questions. Thanks to all the students and teachers who travelled from Hay River to visit the Legislative Assembly and meet with us!

Yesterday, I had a productive day of meetings with bipartisan members of Congress, and American and Canadian business leaders. We were also invited to the White House to meet with senior advisors to President Trump.
