Mentioned on @nickluck pod last week but this fronting up by jockeys is a bad idea. No good comes out of it. I do it as a trainer, did it as a dentist, just my nature. Absolutely no good comes from it. Plenty succesful people I've met get by on neck, neck and more neck. .

Chat about Bowen tactics on CH meaningless. If was to produce what he can he'd have floated in to SM slipstream after 2 hurdles. Wasn't happening and then just a case of clinging on and hope something sparks. It didn't. Brilliant winner and mare in 2nd is a tough, talented Ace.

Since Michael's accident any quiet moment turned to him. Hoping for good news, anything to cling on to. God, he was a handsome young man, a beautiful manner, beautiful hands. He had it all. God bless his family and friends, they were blessed with him.

He was reviewed a few weeks ago and everything appears to have healed satisfactorily. Hopefully he can get his foot back on the ladder. That's always a deep bumper so if he can finish out his race properly I'll be happy and we can plan from there.

Do Brazil tries to reboot his career tomorrow after a tame opening effort. He had sinus problems after his first run that we couldn't get to clear up and my vet decided to do surgery in December. It was quite invasive, inspissated pus(cheese like) was removed.
Someone mentioned content that may be of interest. I'll try this.
