A holiday tradition at the #RHLI involves the Regiment’s officers and senior non-commissioned officers serving dinner to the soldiers. Chief Warrant Officer Jeff Johnston, the RHLI’s Regimental Sergeant-Major, takes his turn serving out turkey dinners to the soldiers.

The #RHLI sends it condolences to the Smith Family. Captain Smith was the RCA Forward Observation Officer with the Regiment at Verrières Ridge in 1944.

Honorary Colonel Don Cranston visited Stewart Bray, perhaps the #RHLI’s last living veteran of the Second World War. He survived serious wounds at Verrières Ridge in 1944, living a full 102 years. He and his comrades fought trying to make the world a better place.
