UPDATE: This was a two alarm fire. About 36 firefighters on scene. Original call said people trapped. Fire was found in a hallway on a higher floor. Residents told to shelter in place because of the heavy smoke. Couple residents evaluated at the scene, but nobody transported.

.@RFDPIO1 says FFs had heavy fire on the 1st floor when they arrived to this building on St. Bridget’s Dr yesterday shortly before 7 PM. The people who live in the building next door were evacuated as a precaution, but no one was hurt. FFs fought the fire from the exterior…
