When do we let them see the X-rated stuff these days? Do we wait until 21 or is it now 18? We have ceded to our government our morals. You decide. And you must also set the example if your kids are to follow. Don’t listen to the world. Decide.

Didn’t even let the words form in his head before not speaking them. We should want to be like him. Not only not speaking the harsh retort, but not even letting the thought form. We may never reach that maturity, but it’s a nice goal.

©Radio Free Babylon®. All rights reserved. We’re just having fun. Did Jesus ever sass Joseph? Probably not, but the Bible tells us he “was tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin.” So, he probably thought about sassing Joseph, but he didn’t.

Now, ask him what he’d have you do. As a 21st Century American, what does the Lord require of you? Do justly. Love mercy. Walk humbly before your God.

Some choose not to be saved. They have their place. It is apart from the saved. That may seem harsh and brutal, but it is spelled out explicitly in the Bible. If you choose to reject God, stubbornly and willfully, you have chosen your fate.

He wants to come into our dirty homes and just hang. Mary got that. Martha was jealous that Mary got that. Understandable. She even complained to Jesus that she was all alone in the “work” of his visit. Jesus in effect told her to chill. Mary chose what was right.

this ain’t easy. It requires we spend time in solitude, in prayer and contemplation, in communion with our Creator. That requires discipline. Maybe if we devoted half as much time to seeking him as we do seeking entertainment and distraction, we’d have more peace. Just a thought.
