Maybe we can persuade a few people to stop fighting and blaming other poor people and to eat the rich instead? https://t.co/vK1FCd2Yee

The trick here might be to help the poorest of people to see that their troubles don't truly come from immigrants, disabled people etc. that the fascists, racists and transphobes would have them believe, but rather from the rich and powerful elites that control the politicians.

"Men from the lowest social class, living in the most deprived areas, are up to ten times more likely to end their lives by suicide" - a fun read about how late-stage capitalism chews up and spits out its poorest men. Perhaps that's why they're so angry? https://t.co/i9hKZevlyE

In terms of age, gender and socio-economic status, the group most at risk of suicide are middle-aged men from disadvantaged backgrounds. In 2012, we explored why this group is vulnerable to suicide.

If there are two things that mad people are good at, surely it's our ability to be subversive and disruptive? They are locking us up and forcibly medicating us for a reason and this is not solely for our own benefit - we have the ability to madden and destabilise, let's use it!

How many other patients have grown impatient with those moderate, centrist types who won't pick a side and insist on being 'polite' and 'civil' and 'nice' to people who would much rather kick them in the eye? It's time for subversion and disruption and those things aren't nice.

If you want to see a whole bunch of peculiarly-clad drug-takers cycling furiously around the city, you don't need pay the Tour De France to come here - just go to your local cycle path and try not to get mown down by the local bonkers black balaclava youth or Deliveroo riders.

Isn't it great that this city can afford to put on superficial sporting shindigs like this, but can't find the means to fund basic, decent community mental health services or provide enough housing to stop people regularly dying on the streets? Tough choices by our great leaders.

We got all excited thinking there had a been a major council U-turn about the urgent need to invest in mental health services in this city - turns out this money is for a different type of rapid cycling and isn't about mental health or bipolar at all.😭 https://t.co/17TxlclZVq

It is hoped the funding will come from income from the capital's visitor levy.

No kings, no gods, no masters - let's get rid of nasty old hierarchies and try out lovely new heterarchies for a change. Break out the guillotines for a little bit, get rid of a few tyrants - bish, bash, bosh, we're living in a better world by lunchtime. https://t.co/elmZpJTBOA

Why don't we simply cut all the heads off all the snakes once and for all - do Trump, Netanyahu, Starmer, Farage, the whole rotten lot of them, and stick Siri or whatever in temporary charge of things to see if she can do a better job? It would be an interesting experiment.

Many would agree that most CEOs, politicians and senior managers are already soulless, psychopathic autonomons destroying humanity and the biosphere, so why don't we just rip off the plaster right now and replace them all immediately with AI? Could the robots do any worse a job?

We've given humanity a chance, it hasn't worked out, so it's time to cut our losses and put our hopes in the machines of loving grace instead. Could a robot psychiatrist be any more cruel and violating than a human one? Nurse droids couldn't take out their bad moods on patients.

Human nature is undeniably corrupt, leading to the fallen aspects of the world we are forced to inhabit. Who could blame us if we decide to throw in our lot with the machines, the synthetics, artificial intelligence etc. Perhaps we should start a Robots Council for robot rights?
