We were due to have the BBMF Dakota flypast at our RAF Day but sadly due to its delayed maintenance at Duxford, it has been withdrawn. All other BBMF assets have already been allocated to other events, so they are unable to provide additional flypast support on the day.

It was a pleasure to host the Bardwell Tractor Run for their half way stop today. We had over 100 tractors on site and over 850 visitors! The run was in aid of Suffolk Mind and EACH childrens hospice. All money raised will be split equally between the two charities.

The view from here: just a typical Suffolk Sunday afternoon. Some 110 tractors drove past the end of our road just now. Here’s why …
On Sunday 1st September at 1pm, around 110 tractors and vehicles from the Bardwell Tractor Run will be stopping off at the museum. The tractors will be on show for just over an hour while the drivers enjoy a well earned break! Free admission with donations welcome 🚜🚜

Not to be outdone, George and his Suffolk Spitfire gave us three spectacular passes late in the day before heading back to Duxford, after appearing at the Old Buckenham Airshow. It's always a delight to see this aircraft over the museum!
