I've worked in trials methods research for 14 years. Had 2 kids, worked part-time, plenty unsuccessful grants, awful reviewer (#2😉) comments, but also key successes w/ AWESOME colleagues. @aberdeenuni has rewarded all of this & awarded me promotion to Professor. I can't even!

We need to incorporate general robotic literacy across early surgical training. Procedure specific robotic training can be undertaken in ST5-8 / Fellowship (among those interested).

Agreed there is a long path to follow. There is a need develop a consensus to gradually phase out (intra cavity) open surgery by 2030!!.
