Update - Traffic Advisory.Wednesday Aug 13 2025 8:35 a.m. Mt. Mellick area is now clear from the earlier traffic incident.
Traffic Advisory.Tractor-trailer rollover at Route 1 (TCH) and Route 3 in the Mt. Mellick area, motorists are asked to drive with care. PEI RCMP and Provincial Dept. of Highways personnel are directing traffic. No injuries reported at this time. Updates on PEI RCMP social media.

PEI RCMP are engaged in a police operation in the Urbainville area of Prince County. Several police vehicles are present. RCMP are asking the public to avoid this area. Rte 124 (Wellington Rd.) & Rte 125 (Hacmatack Rd.) are closed to all traffic. Updates on PEI RCMP social media.

UPDATE 5:29pm Friday August 8, 2025. The fire is under control and all roads are open.
Fire and emergency services personnel are on site at a fire involving farm buildings and nearby wooded areas in Gaspereaux. PEI Highway crews will soon be on site as well to direct traffic. Motorists are asked to avoid the area until further notice.

August 7th 2025 at approximately 12 noon RCMP Provincial Traffic Unit stopped this motorcycle going 147 km/h in the posted 80 km/h zone in Roseneath. - 7 day impound and very significant fine.
