Well said Gavin Boyle.... it shouldn’t need saying but where it does we should all be saying it together. We at RCHT absolutely endorse your words
“So here it is, in the NHS you don’t get to choose who cares for you depending on the colour of their skin, the colour of their passport or their accent. Abusing our staff, whether because of race or indeed anything else, won’t be tolerated. It really shouldn’t need saying.”

1/17 It's a been a year since the first COVID-19 patients were admitted to NHS hospitals. A year that's tested the NHS like no other. There are things we would do differently, now that we know more. But the NHS has done extraordinary things in near impossible circumstances...

Hi Phil... we at RCHT are very proud of Owain too ... brave man who acted quickly to prevent harm.... truly amazing. Thank you (again!) Owain
I am in awe of the recent heroic act by @Mitie colleague, Owain Ashton. As a fire broke out on a ward at @RCHTWeCare, Owain rescued a patient from a side room that was on fire. Here's Owain (middle) with his managers. Thank you for your bravery Owain, truly exceptional.

Do you remember this @DebbieFleming18? 160 people. The biggest ‘in the room’ #WhoseShoes event ever! Seven years ago in Southampton. It pre-dates all our #MatExp work. And I remember how you stayed all day listening to people, chatting and learning. 👍🏼#NoHierarchyJustPeople

Amazing afternoon with 100 people across Cornwall planning what we want for our county. 2 big principles for me... 1. NHS is here to serve the people 2. ‘It ain’t what you do it’s the way that you do it’ (Fun Boy 3 & Bananarama 1982) - my anthem for change!!!! Big year ahead x
Really great event hosted today to talk about future models of care. Thanks to @RCHTWeCare @RCHTCE and all who took part. #MovingForward #excitingtimes #InItTogether
