Tigers Shortstop, Lee Trevino (Redwood HS, Visalia), signs National Letter of Intent with Fresno State. Trevino has been among the State leaders in numerous Offensive categories all season, while being a consistent defensive player all year.
Tiger Pitching Coach Anthony Essien was named pitching coach for the Burlington (North Carolina) Sock Puppets for the new Appalachian League. The Appy League will run from June 3rd through August 8th and is sponsored by USA Baseball and Major League Baseball.
Tiger Infielder Justin Tiger commits to University of Nevada (Reno). Tiger was a 1st Team All CVC selection and the recipient of the Kristi Lozano/Randy Austin Most Inspirational Player award.
Tiger 1st Baseman, Mitch Silvas, committed to Fresno Pacific University. The hard hitting Silvas had to redshirt this year with the Tigers after he sustained a knee injury days before the opener this past January.
