It’s been a harder than expected week post-op. I had hoped to return to work tomorrow.
But I’m not ready.
So...here’s to a few more days of recovery & allowing myself the same amount of grace I’d encourage others in the same situation. It’s ok to not be ok.

’s death. My struggle is obviously nothing, but I’m still gutted. I didn’t know him. Just of him...& what he did...with so much grace & love & strength. It’s horribly sad that someone like him can’t be here any longer. He made us all better.

So apparently my hometown Pizza Hut (where my dad still lives) has rebranded as Pizza Hut Classic. They brought back the old interior, the old logo, and so the lunch buffet again, even cups. Didn't know this was a thing, tried to capture as much of the aesthetic as I could here.
