On November, we broke ground for the Girls’ Dormitory Block at Wesley Grammar School, an investment in our girls and in the future of our alma mater. As we prepare for the school’s 70th Anniversary in 2026, may this project inspire generations to come.

On November 26th, through The Rebecca Foundation, I commissioned a new, fully equipped library for Achimota Primary School, my alma mater. A meaningful opportunity to give back and support literacy and digital learning.

I am honoured to support 27 women from the Accra Anglican Diocese with soap - making skills through The Rebecca Foundation. Empowering women with practical, lifelong skills remains my passion. We look forward to taking this initiative to many more communities.

Though she has departed, her legacy of empowerment and service will forever live on in the hearts of those she uplifted.

She strongly believed that gender should not be a barrier to one’s contribution to national development. Nana Konadu’s courage, strength, and devotion to equality continue to inspire generations to dream boldly and lead fearlessly.

Her work with the 31st December Women’s Movement gave countless women a voice and a path to productive livelihoods. Nana Konadu was a constant participant in my annual IWD programme lending her support and voice to advocate for equity, equality and inclusion for women.

We pay heartfelt tribute to Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings — a trailblazer, visionary, and tireless advocate for women’s rights. As Ghana’s former First Lady, she boldly took steps, to empower women through education, leadership, and opportunity.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings in these difficult times. May her soul rest in peace.
