Congratulations to the @RoyalNavy and @RoyalAirForce Photographers who graduated from the Defence School of Photography at RAF Cosford on 28 June. We wish them all every success in their military careers.

If you made it down to the front of the crowd line at the @RAF_Cosford Air Show you may have spotted Sgt Matthews working out on the display line. Sgt Matthews is one of our training instructors and spent the day capturing everything that was happening in the skies

We hope all of you that attended the @cosfordairshow yesterday had a fantastic time. You may have seen our hard working @RAF_Cosford team in amongst the crowd capturing some of the many activities available and personnel that were flying or working at the show.

On May 31, 2024, @RoyalAirForce crews from 84 Squadron based out of @RAFAkrotiri assisted the Cypriot Government in controlling a large wildfire. The fire burned over a large area of wild vegetation and was close to residential houses for several hours.

Exercise AUXILIUM FORT is underway at @RAFHonington and has seen force elements from across the RAF gather together at to begin training and testing their technical skills.

The @rafredarrows have finished phase one of Exercise Springhawk in Croatia and celebrated with a flypast in the skies above Zadar with their Croatian counterparts Krila Oluje (Wings of Storm. The team have now moved to Greece for phase two of their pre-season training.

NATO celebrates the 75th anniversary today since its formation on 4th April 1949. To celebrate this anniversary, todays fantastic images come from AS1 Barnard of the Photo ACSSU, He has been very fortunate to document many joint training activities between NATO members.

RAF Armourers (Weapon Technician) have the huge responsibility of maintaining and managing all the weapons and explosives used within the RAF. They are a highly skilled bunch who play a crucial role in ensuring missions can be carried out successfully.

Yesterday you saw Dan's photos of the @RoyalMarines Surveillance and Reconnaissance Squadron Commandos and we mentioned they were taken whilst filming for a video project. Well today we bring you the results of that video project and what a piece of work this is!

Something pretty exciting coming this week! AS1 Smither is in Norway working alongside the @RoyalMarines and we’re going to be showcasing his work for the entire week. We will let him introduce it himself before we kick start the week tomorrow.

Carrying on our display team week, we now look to the @RAFFalcons who have just wrapped up ex Falcon Stack 2024 in California. The team now return to the UK to continue training their display on the smaller drop zones with their display season schedule to be announced soon.

Checking in with the @RAFTyphoonTeam today and new display pilot Flight Lieutenant David “Turbo” Turnbull. Turbo continues to practice in the skies above @RAFConingsby honing in the display manoeuvres and sequence for the season. Their 2024 display dates have now been released!

All systems go at the @rafredarrows as they prepare for this exciting 'Diamond Season'. The team will shortly head overseas to refinine their 2024 display. This is crucial preparation ready to undertake their annual assessment know as a Public Display Authority (PDA).

How's this for a day in the office for Cpl Dye flying as Circus 10! To mark the 60th display season for the @rafredarrows, the team was joined in the skies above Lincolnshire by a Folland Gnat painted in the distinctive colours of the 'Yellowjacks', a predecessor to the Reds.
