Les participants auront l'occasion de prendre part à des ateliers pratiques, de voir des présentations statiques et de vivre l'expérience familiale intitulée « Touch the Truck », parrainée par Radio Amateurs du Canada. Jason Tremblay community@rac.ca

Cette initiative unique en son genre réunira des intervenants d'urgence, des radio amateurs, des organismes communautaires et des membres du public afin d'explorer le rôle crucial des communications lors des interventions en cas de catastrophe.

L’événement principal aura lieu à l’Aréna Dr Edgar Leclair à Azilda (Ontario), de 10 h à 17 h le 24 janvier, et comprendra des ateliers interactifs, des activités pratiques et un exercice de communications d’urgence à grande échelle nommé « Operation Claybelt Response ».

Le Service auxiliaire de communications est fier d’annoncer la tenue de l’Expo et exercice COMMS, un événement de trois jours ayant pour but de mettre en valeur la préparation aux situations d’urgence ainsi que de tester l’interopérabilité entre les systèmes de communication.
