1/8 We are a group of friends (3) who invested in Terra a.k.a. Terra Classic and got rekted badly with all/most of our LUNA being liquidated or hodling to near $0. Thread 🧵

Sad to say this but there is literally 0 chance we will ever get into the active set judging by how things have been like in the last few days. The minimum amount of $LUNA required to get into active set is ~724k and we only have ~85k. Please redelegate away from us... 🥹

There are just 38 delegators that staked 100 $LUNA or more to us, so there is a 28.6% chance of winning (10/35 excluding our own wallets). I had to reset the spin twice when one of our wallets ended up in one of the 10 entries.

After all, shouldn't it be a free market where validators can decide how much they want to charge and stakers decide how much they want to be charged?

On the bright side, we are now a "unbounded" validator which means undelegating/redelegating will be immediate (no need to wait 21 days). Those who have supported us in the early stage and are willing to give up their staking rewards, feel free to do so. We totally understand.

We have decided to stay on and continue to run the node/validator. However, we are now pretty far away from the active set - we have ~92.3k $LUNA while the 130th validator has 315k $LUNA, a difference of ~222.7k $LUNA to get into the active set.

My whole family had fallen sick (covid) for the past week, hence the lack of tweets. It was even harder with a 1.5 years old toddler that kept having high fever (>39 degrees). Although we are not fully recovered (cough and flu remaining), so glad that it is almost over...

This thread simply shows how difficult it is for new validators to join while the bad ones can easily remain in the active set. Shall provide more update closer to the end of the month.

Regardless whether he was sharing the half-truth/FUD/conspiracy. It is obvious he doesn't believe in the future of Terra 2 yet he was able to get into the active set...

@staderlabs 5/9 My guess is @hashed_official. We can see that it is one of the pre-seed investors over here - https://t.co/lTpyiQlZAC And if we change the same address in Classic - https://t.co/ylR9slHnof, 11M $LUNA was staked with hashed which was a self-delegation to their own validator.
