The budget bill under consideration in the U.S. Senate would kick nearly 11 million people off their health insurance and raise health care costs for all of us. Senator Andy Kim, vote NO to #ProtectMedicaid and #ProtectAffordableCare!

Medicaid is under attack. Federal cuts would devastate NJ families—slashing care for seniors, workers, and kids just to fund billionaire tax breaks. 🩺 Less home care. 🏥 Fewer hospitals. 💸 More medical debt. This isn’t “welfare.” It’s a lifeline. #ProtectMedicaid

1/3 The House passed a bill cutting Medicaid funding by an est. $715 billion. If approved by the Senate, these cuts will raise health care costs, negatively impact state budgets & deny affordable health care to at least 8.6M people, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

Yesterday @HouseCommerce @EnergyCommerce passed a bill that would make devastating cuts to #Medicaid. Congressman @tomkean, we are extremely disappointed in your vote. Please stand up to #ProtectMedicaid for New Jerseyans and cancer patients when this bill comes to the floor.

Tomorrow @HouseCommerce will begin markup of a bill that will cut Medicaid, a program that 1 in 3 children w/ cancer & 1 in 10 adults w/ a history of cancer rely on for health care. @CongressmanKean , this is your chance to #ProtectMedicaid. New Jerseyans are counting on you! ⚕️
