How a custom Shopify experience reimagines Templier’s modernist legacy through motion and refined digital design.
A refined tribute to Raymond Templier's modernism: @indexstd's Shopify site turns each jewel into an artwork, using quiet motion, clean photography, and smooth transitions to highlight his geometry and play of light. Read more: https://t.co/5eKwLOdVCe

- 💾 Navigation progress is now saved on each map. When you revisit, you’ll land right where you left off. - Plus, I’ve made various optimizations here and there to improve the overall experience. Always open to feedback from fellow hikers and devs, let me know what you think

- 🗺️ Switched from Leaflet to MapLibre for map rendering. This brings major optimizations, especially for ultra-long hikes, making navigation smoother and faster. - ↕️ Added a button to reverse the trail direction—ideal for anyone who wants to hike a route in the opposite way.

The design is not final at all; I wanted to release an MVP first and get some testers. DM me if you have any suggestions or feedback, and feel free to share with anyone who loves long-distance hiking!

The next step was to add a mouse interaction and build a UI that lets us control the “chaos” and makes collaboration between development and design much smoother.
Exploring interactive transition with watercolor effect, where users can play with layers in real time. It's a WIP for an upcoming project for Millemann Wines with @indexstd 🔥 Made with a custom shader (with ogl). Crafted with @philippenveu & @jonathandc 🤝

Focusing on the shader transition: the first step was to prototype an organic shader effect using multiple noise layers to create a chaotic rendering, aiming for a liquid/ink/watercolor look. I then linked a progress value to the scroll.
