As a school, we celebrated #SaferInternetDay this week. The P1/2s learned about asking an adult for help when unsure online, the P3/4/5 & P5/6/7 classes took part in the @BBC_Teach Live Lesson about Scam Smashers and the nursery asked the older pupils what devices they used.

Our nursery children have been exploring the forest and toasting marshmallows after our fire safety session learning about how to keep safe and manage risk. 🔥🌲

After learning how cheese is made by splitting milk, we got the opportunity to try different cheeses 🧀 @RHETClyde

Last year, one of our P6 pupils won a competition held by @RHETClyde to design a dairy cow. 🐄 The prize was a whole school trip to a local dairy farm and then a cheese workshop! 🧀 Thank you to @RHETClyde for organising and to Joanna and Alan at Shotlinn farm for having us!

P5/6/7 have been preparing the arrival of the brown trout eggs, learning to maintain the temperature of the hatchery. They are very excited to take on the responsibility and are ready to monitor their development over the next few weeks! 🐟 @ClydeRF

As part of Scottish Week, the pre-school nursery children joined P1/2 as they developed their literacy skills through reading The Gruffalo in Scots! They also got the chance to explore the environment and play with the P1/2s. #transition #scotslanguage #itsSLC
