Article II of the UN Genocide Convention defines genocide as acts committed "with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group". We believe the Israeli actions in #Gaza meet this threshold.

Since 7 October 2023, we have witnessed the following realities: . • Approximately 1,200 Israelis killed, over 3,300 injured and 223 people abducted. • Over 57,000 Palestinians directly killed, with estimates including indirect impacts of war rising as high as 300,000.

While the Armistice brought an end to armed conflict amongst the parties to the War, those parties have yet to sign a peace agreement to end it. The Korean Peninsula remains in a state of conflict, over the decades becoming one of the most militarized places in the world.
