Building @dropmobility. I think there will be more e-bikes than e-cars. Sometimes vibe coding my teenage dreams.

Not sure if totally true but this is a very healthy perspective to keep in mind. First heard about the Anthropic regulatory capture strategy with their huge settlement to authors.
@ChrisMurphyCT You're being played by people who want regulatory capture. They are scaring everyone with dubious studies so that open source models are regulated out of existence.

It is pretty interesting that building clear guidelines for AI is similar to motivating humans. The original file @nityeshaga is referring to is in this repo:
github.com
Claude Code is an agentic coding tool that lives in your terminal, understands your codebase, and helps you code faster by executing routine tasks, explaining complex code, and handling git workflo...
this is amazing. Anthropic not only understands how to build the best models but also how to use them best. just look at this frontend-design skill. it's just one file with 42 lines of instructions that read like the type of memo a frontend lead would write for their team.

I'm excited in a nervous way about Bun.sleep (and many of other items here). So good and so bad...

Use Bun's utility functions to work with the runtime

I'm hoping others benefit from seeing the code, or the prompts, but not necessarily need to `npm install` something I'm responsible for.

I'm not bullish on making this an all-solving package, but it seems AI makes it possible to go deeper on complex APIs, and build very bespoke tools for our needs. At this size, it is still very legible, but I have high control over specific taste preferences.

Doing a little bit of Sunday coding, diving into the Typescript compiler. Never would have done this pre-AI.

How come the new @NotionCalendar Mac App icon no longer shows the current date?

Restarting my habit of buying books I like in hardcover. DM to borrow!

Finished reading “Apple in China”. Excellent book, mixed feelings, and definitely didn’t expect to learn so much about a company I felt I grew up with. Highly recommended.

LLMs are basically revealing that most people are just faking it. On the other hand, the bar is pretty low to do anything!

Also, good to see they finally fixed the naming/branding inconsistency. It's just GPT 5. Not 4o vs o1 vs o3-mini or whatever.

Watching the GPT livestream, and I am remembering some of the same excitement and vibes as the Steve Jobs era keynotes.
