As y’all know I only planned to stay in Canada for 1 year then go back home. I’ve been contemplating this decision for months but I’ve decided to ride out my 2 year visa & stay! It’s going to be difficult to be away from family again but I feel like one year isn’t enough for what.

For those who feel discouraged about not receiving invites to tournaments/events, it’s never a good look to put others down because you feel like you/someone else is more deserving. Putting my head down & proving myself competitively got me further than complaining ever did.

My last year in NA & most likely my last year competing. I have no desire to continue & am focused more now on other passions in my life. So happy to see the WZ scene flourishing & I hope more women pursue their competitive careers as it was life changing for me. Very grateful.
