Desi Corporate dumbos should realize by now that FSDL honeymoon is now over & that has been done by AFC/FIFA- AIFF could do nothing. AIFF would have happily lived the life of a darling pet dog of FSDL, but AFC screwed the honeymoon. The pet journos too should now understand that.
@QEBNA The only hold up for Indian football is expiration of FSDL’s contract with AIFF and the fact that the new constitution didn’t allow FSDL to continue owing and managing the top tier league on their own terms. The issue of clubs’ stake holding in the league will certainly….

Agree. Just provide a deadline for ISL clubs to confirm. Depending on number of unwilling candidates, based on merit, invite iLeague clubs , sharing the financial commitment from clubs. IFA did that for IFA Shield. Use the same technique to finalize clubs for Tier-1 League.
@QEBNA ….they should be asked if their clubs are willing to play this season or not. If they aren’t ready to play then they should be replaced by top point-earners from last season’s iLeague

Meanwhile , a comment on the recently shared audio note.. It seems MBSG´s noncooperation strategies have now become cliche. Every fan can read their moves.
@QEBNA Yes, the priority should be to play football. That’s what the fans, players and AIFF want. Guys like Chopra and other likeminded officials need not be paid any heed. They should be told that they need to sit tight and would get all the minutes at the season-end. In between,…..

Since that CEO chap was present in the meeting, he can use Chat GPT to write Meeting Minutes & ask AIFF to sign on that. These Corporate junkies do not even know that anyone present in a meeting can write down meeting minutes. Even smartphone can record on behalf of any dumbo.
@QEBNA Goenka should allot a bit of extra allowance towards caffeine pills for Chopra so that, he could stay awake in the meetings that he attends. Now that the clubs and FSDL have realized that AIFF is making sincere effort to conduct ISL this season they’re likely to make …..

Funny priorities of the intellectually deprived....broadcasting partner should be of least priority at this point.
@QEBNA However, the issue of selecting the broadcasting partner at this point is secondary to firming up the plan for conducting the league. With each day one is losing and wasting valuable time to salvage what’s left of this Indian football season

Legacy MB had failed to qualify for Season 1 of NFL. The owner of MBSG has legal right to skip Season 1 of new Tier-1 League of India. Its his club, his call. AIFF or IFA cannot force him on this. Likewise AFC could not force MBSG to play in Iran. AFC had legal right to ban them.
@QEBNA Remember Chopra decided not to play a CFL derby game on account of IFA not issuing tickets. Let Chopra wait on the minutes and decide that SG won’t play the top tier league on account of that. Then he should go to the MB supporters along with Dhoomki Datta to explain and….

Telegraph reported on MBSG doing nonsense. AIFF should simply kick them out of ISL if they are not interested to play ISL. A few days ago AFC kicked them out for not playing in Iran. They may be now addicted to kick on butt.
@QEBNA SG have no real incentives to play the league given that they can’t play AFC tournaments during the next two seasons. Hence they’ll try their level best to sabotage this season and possibly the next as well. It’s up to AIFF to take a strong stance with them and likeminded clubs

It seems that the CEO employee of Bijli Babu is creating problem, asking juvenile questions to AIFF on the new ISL proposals that were recently shared by IFA & Goa Fed. AIFF should simply kick out a club if it is not interested to play Tier-1 League. ( Source - Ajkal )

They might have raised funds globally making tall claims on their investment in ISL. Its difficult to continue for too long such strategies as investors soon realize that they were tricked.
@QEBNA ….of what they initially thought would be the case. With 115 charges pending against them at the EPL convening financial fair play between ‘09 and ‘23 it’s not very surprising that CFG might be keen to tighten their books. They haven’t been spending big on players….

Btw yesterday Sribhumi defeated Gokulam 4-0 in IWL. It seems that the two strongest teams in IWL are now from Bengal.
@QEBNA Problem ki hobe jano ebar?? We got an anthony just by god's grace but what about the next anthony?? We don't know, cause after him it might become a Subhash bhowmik type massacre sow e should be prepared and start prepping coaches too under andrews

True you are.
@QEBNA The experiment of private ownership of top tier leagues in China had a pretty disastrous outcome when the bubble finally burst. Currently, CFA has again stepped in strongly to govern the league and promote development of local talents. Many clubs shut down without being….

More so, regarding that company which decided to run away from Mumbai - if they were that very rich, they could have sponsored the entire ISL. A few shallow heads are crying as if their dad died.
@QEBNA …..Indian football is better off not paying too much importance to such organizations. Not sure why AIFF is bending their back as if these clubs/franchises belonged to the uppermost echelon in Indian football in perpetuity. If some of them don’t want to play Indian football…..
