PyFR v2.0.0 is a major release with many new and exciting features, including: a Metal backend, more robust shock capturing, in-situ visualisation, turbulence injection, a Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings implementation, and cache blocking for the OpenMP backend.

The turbulence injection capability uses the synthetic eddy method described by Giangaspero et al. which allows free stream turbulence to be injection into any area of the computational domain
