What happened? What changed for that young person in that moment? Who were you being to have such an impact? What was important to you about this?

Now think about an interaction that you’ve had with one student. It might well appear insignificant to anyone else who was in the room, but for you, this held meaning. You were both changed in some way.

Think back over your career so far, and the hundreds of students you have worked with. Allow their faces to come into view. Now give them some movement and remember how they hold themselves - their smile, their frown, their voice.
