Yes, yes, I should be sleeping. But I have little update! TEXTURES! Ok, only one texture for now. And not quite correct yet, has to be flipped, Europe is on backwards as you can see. But at least the texture is read from a file, uploaded to the gpu, sampled correctly* and used.

Got a bit of time. I am working on the camera controls. Added rotations. Which is good. However, if I go up, right, down left, I want that to come back to the same state, instead right now it becomes tilted that way. Not sure if I want to fix this rn or move on. Seems trivial.

Ok, I added emissive surfaces. What you see is a scene lighted up with that, and the implicit skybox taken out. Currently it needs to be really big and overly bright to light up a scene. Maybe that's just how it is. I am liking this hellscape of a scene I have going on.
