The Gaumont State Theatre, Kilburn hosted the first live music since 1978 tonight! @royalphilorch playing hits from Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, The Beatles, Rolling Stones & Dusty Springfield in the beautiful Grade II* building. All acts have played here! ❤️

Anyone know if The Canterbury Arms is definitely closed?
The Canterbury Arms in Walworth, a proper community local. A whiff of weed, they’d run out of beer, someone let out a huge fart while putting songs on the jukebox, and everyone stared at me because I wasn’t from the manor. Loved it — a proper boozer, and a rare breed in London.
