You’ve got three days to visit this fab little exhibition at Candid Arts in Islington (not St. Pancras church crypt as originally advertised). Now in its fourth year, The Eng. Club’s exhibition explores the imagination and artistry that underlies engineering. FREE!

Only two days until @JennyRohn visits The Old King's Head to talk about antimicrobial resistance and what we can do about it. Don't miss this chance to hear a leading scientist in the perfect setting THere's a reason we refer to PubSci as "Sipping • Supping • Science"

On 15th October, Prof Jenny Rohn gives the low-down on antimicrobial resistance, a silent pandemic behind millions of deaths every year, and explores our options. With drug-resistant infections up 69% in 4 years, this may be our most important talk ever. https://t.co/g2sacDUC8S

Why are drug-resistant infections on the rise? What happens when antibiotics stop working? And what are scientists doing about it?

@X @X seems to have fixed the link (thank you) but did you know that any link you post doesn't survive intact? It gets turned into a short link beginning https://t.co/XTbaDGHr91 In my case they now correctly resolve the link to the intended URL in some posts but not in others!

@X mangled and misdirected the event link on the first time of posting, so I asked Grok (appropriately for a talk on AI) what was going on. This was the reply:

Should we fear AI? Should we embrace it? Perhaps both? PubSci examines the surprisingly long history of AI and lays to rest a few myths.

@X why is my link being misdirected? My link is https://t.co/hEIYDeKA6N but YOU have linked it with https://t.co/DnFXrwsyWB leading to https://t.co/1oIfeNZ0Ln That is not the link I posted. It's not my event. This is exceedingly weird. Why won't you show
