Wow pvp is focused too much on arena. Arena is hardcore mode. You die, you lose. For the average player that is too intimidating, in BGs, you dying doesn't auto lose you the game. The future of PvP is rated type BG content but not the BG we have now.

idk why can't wow have a mechanic like guild wars 2 or lost ark where people can pretty much create a new character and jump straight into arena with the ability to chose their stats and talents and be on the same level as everyone else in said pvp environment

it will take no effort to implement in both wotlk and dragonflight, it doesn't need rated system or anything, we have pet battle 1v1 arena but not regular 1v1 arena!? how is that still not a thing 😕

We don't need a stat. It should be like WOD. PvP gear scales up in arena and PvE gear scales down.

Everyone seems to be looking for a solution to keep 2v2 and 3v3 alive, when, we should probably just let these, outdated and inferior systems, die naturally. The natural progress is to find new talent in soloq and have them move into the pro scene 1/2

Soloq would be so great for world of warcraft getting way more people interested in arena, right now the only meaningful way to play it so to manually find people which can be intimidating and also kind of a hustle. I don't think soloq would destroy rated pvp either. 1/2

What if, by simplifying the game, with the reduction of CC, pvp attracts more people who never played pvp before. I was in valdrakken, inspecting people and out of 10+ random players, only 2 had any rating in pvp. 1/2

if you want a class nerfed in pvp just do some crazy shit in pve with it, solo bosses as dk, 5 rets in M+, tripple outlaw rogue in M+ and so on. classes dominating pvp means nothing
