In collaboration with @PVDMayor, PEMA is embracing cutting-edge technology to significantly improve our ability to deliver timely, multilingual emergency alerts. These improvements will provide more effective, efficient and comprehensive notifications during emergencies.
Providence rolling out its new emergency alert plan starting Sept. 1, which includes decommissioning the sirens and streamlining the protocols for digital alerts.
