On the 28th of December on @BBCTwo a new series detailing the sinking of the Titanic starts, based on first hand accounts. It is likely to feature Harold Bride's famous account as the wireless operator. Later in life he lived and worked at Provan Hall for a short time until 1956.

Today is the last day of public opening at Provan Hall this year - so do pop-in! Although we'll be busy with schools and groups in the coming weeks, for general visitors, today's the final day of opening in 2025 - so come and explore from 10:00-16:00.

Some tweaks to opening hours at Provan Hall on a few dates in December: Thursday 4th: Closed Thursday 11th: Open until 7pm! Sunday 14th: Last day open to visitors in 2025. Provan Hall reopens to the public on the 22nd of January 2026 after a deep clean and with a new exhibition
